Rice Cake Soup (Tteok Guk)

A clean and subtle anchovy broth with thin oval soft rice cakes, beef brisket & scallions. Traditionally enjoyed on New Year's Day, tteok guk is enjoyed by adults and kids as comfort food. No need for rice.

We use prime beef brisket from Niman Ranch and the best Korean rice cakes from Yedang. This broth is elegant and delicious. Addictive for kids and adults alike.

Instructions: Pour into a pot with lid. Boil for 2-3 minutes. Add a whisked egg, wait 30 seconds and then gently stir. Pairs perfectly with napa cabbage kimchi or radish cube kimchi.
