Welcome to Little Banchan Shop!

We cook small-batch Korean food (or ‘banchan’) on-site in our kitchen in Long Island City, using wholesome, high quality ingredients. Pretty much anything in a Korean meal can be considered banchan if you eat it with rice.

Banchan will range from small dishes like sauteed spinach (sigeumchi) or marinated eggs (gyeran jorim) to large entrees such as braised chicken (andong jjimdak) or BBQ soy-marinated short ribs (yangnyeom galbi).  All of our banchan is either ready-to-eat or ready-to-heat (other than our marinated meats, which must be cooked!).

Banchan is generally meant to be stored in your fridge and portioned out at each meal. It’s a great way to have a delicious, well- balanced meal on the table in minutes.

Stock up on banchan in your fridge and you will never be without a meal option. We have over 50 types of banchan, soups & stews, marinated meats, and braised meats. We also offer grab & go items as well as a made-to-order menu, in-store. Last but not least, we are proud to offer Coffee Libre pour over single origin coffee as well as cold brew.

Our list of in-store banchan is much more extensive so please drop in! Store hours are 10am-9pm (Sundays 10am-8pm). We are closed on Tuesdays. 528 49th Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101.
